On November 3, the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights was thrilled to welcome the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, and Ian Hanomansing, co-host of CBC’s The National, for a special, sold-out gala to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and consider the future of human rights in Canada.
The evening was also an opportunity to support the incredible work of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Through inspiring education programs, moving public programs and groundbreaking exhibitions, the Museum is connecting with people of all ages across Canada and creating new opportunities for human right exploration and discovery. We are so proud of everything the Museum has accomplished over the past five years, and are looking forward to the all the accomplishments ahead.
