High school students talk ethics

On December 1, 200 high school students expanded their critical thinking and collaboration skills at the Manitoba High School Ethics Bowl hosted at the Museum.

Working in groups, the students analyzed ethical issues, shared with the group and critiqued each other’s findings. Some even amended their original position after hearing different perspectives from their peers! This process strengthened the necessary skills of active listening, articulation, open-mindedness, and respectful dialogue and disagreement.

This event was hosted by The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties and the Canadian Ethics Bowl Consortium. Thank you for your support!
